Every last Sunday of the month we offer a FREE family friendly adventure to our local families! It is getting increasingly more difficult to connect with others, especially for families with kids. By offering a monthly gathering we hope to help others connect with like minded folks in the area, while also enjoying some time in nature.

We spend our time together guiding you and your littles through the forest, stopping at our favorite trees to climb, pausing to listen to birds, exploring fungi, learning about native plants and much more! During this adventure we meet at Seward Park (upper loop) and head to our trail of choice for the day. Children lead the way and grown ups follow. Please make sure you are keeping an eye on your little one(s) and sticking close to the group. We encourage families to bring their children (0-3 years), older children are of course welcome, we just ask that we match the pace of the littlest friends in the forest. Once we are done with the loop we say our goodbyes.

 

Meet at the Seward Park upper loop starting at 10:30am, we head into the forest at 11am for about a 1 mile loop and an hour long journey. If you can’t make every adventure that is ok! You’re welcome to show up to just one or every one of them. We want this experience to be a positive, stress free one. We’re excited to explore the forest with you!
