Nature School
Our nature school runs from 8:30am-12:30pm, located in South Seattle for children ages 2.5-5 years old.
We believe that children are capable, compassionate, and curious individuals and the ability to learn is in them starting the moment they are brought into this world. Preschool is a time for children to develop their own learning identities. We focus on building intelligence through a play centered and child-led environment. Children spend their days outside with the freedom to explore their interests and grow into their authentic selves in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Throughout our program, children are improving critical thinking skills, communication, emotional intelligence and autonomy through a social and environmental justice lens. Most importantly they're being present and having fun!

Where To Find Us!
Mondays and Fridays are our "Forest Days". We are located in the Mt. Baker neighborhood where you can find us exploring forest trails or at the beach. 100% Outdoors!
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, you can find us on Beacon Hill, at our indoor classroom space just a block west of Jefferson Park. We take daily adventures to our garden plot at the
Beacon Food Forest and romp around all the green spaces it has to offer.
Both of our locations are full of many native plants and critters. Kids are able to get away, forget about the hustle and bustle of the city, and dive deep into play.

Our program runs from 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Choose from 5 days per week OR Tues/Weds/Thurs OR Mon/Fri.

Our Classroom
Tuition is divided into 10 monthly installments for the school year (September-June). We follow Seattle Public School's Calendar for holidays.
Little Wildlings offers a sliding scale payment model and intentionally offers care at a lower rate. This is to ensure equity in our community. We ask that families reflect critically on what they can afford, so that we can continue to offer reduced market rate for those who truly need it.
Below are three suggested tuition price options, you are welcome to choose any amount in between that feels accessible to your family.
Tier 1. For families that low market rate preschool is out of reach for.
Tier 2. For families who can afford to pay a low market rate tuition.
Tier 3. For families who can comfortably afford market rate tuition, therefore supporting the health of the Little Wildlings community.
This system was put into place so that we can ensure equity and provide an inclusive environment for ALL families.

Our Routine
There is a lot of "Free Play" at our school. This may just look like serving "mud cakes" to our friends or watching a slug move across a path. All of these moments are full of learning experiences. We LOVE free play.
